Important Update on US Shipping Policy

Dear Valued US Customers,

At Teyvatavern, we have always prioritized transparency and fairness in our service. Regrettably, due to unprecedented changes in US tariff regulations, we must update our shipping policy for US orders to ensure sustainable operations while continuing to serve you effectively.

Why Are These Changes Necessary?

Starting May 2, 2025, the U.S. government will impose a 90% tariff on all imports valued at less than $800, with a minimum tariff of $75 per package (rising to $150 after June 1). This policy directly impacts our ability to provide affordable shipping options, as tariffs currently account for a large portion of the cost of an order.

Key Adjustments to Our Policy

1. Free Shipping Threshold Remains $75

  • Orders over $75: Continue to enjoy free standard shipping.
  • Orders below $75: Shipping fee remains at $9.85 (unchanged).

2. Mandatory Tariff Surcharge for All US Orders

  • Order below $75: A $75 USD customs duties will be added at checkout
  • Example: Place $50 order + $9.85 shipping fee + $75 tariff = $134.85
  • Orders over $75: No extra shipping fee, but customs duties will be charged at checkout
  • Example: Place $80 order + no shipping fee + $75 tariff = $155

The above policies may change due to the US tariff re-adjustment on June 1st.

This policy will be officially implemented on April 18. For US customers before that, I will refund you the extra tariffs you paid (In-stock Items Only).

3. Shipment Timing for Pre-Order/Backorder Items

To minimize tariff fees: If an order contains both in-stock and pre-order/backorder items, we must ship all items together once fully available. Split shipments would trigger multiple tariff charges (e.g., $75 per package), making the order financially unsustainable.

We deeply regret the inconvenience this policy causes. This is not a decision we make lightly – it is a last resort to avoid shutting down US operations entirely.
