Kamisato Ayaka Genshin Impact 4.3 Ayaka Build Guide: Weapons, Artifacts, Materials, Constellations and Team Comps

Ayaka is a fan-favorite and one of the strongest Cryo Vision holders and sword-wielders in Genshin Impact that’s fun to play. We placed her in S-Tier in our Genshin Impact Character tier list, and if you recently got her or have owned it but haven’t used her for a long time, in this guide, let’s look at the best weapons, artifacts, and overall builds for Kamisato Ayaka in Genshin Impact.

Kamisato Ayaka Builds in Genshin Impact

The best build for Ayaka is the Blizzard Strayer artifact set paired with her signature weapon, Mistsplitter Reforged. 2-piece Blizzard Strayer grants Ayaka a 15% Cryo damage bonus and 4-piece grants a 15% Crit rate when enemies are affected by Cryo and an additional 20% Crit Rate when the enemy is Frozen.

All you need to do to get the best out of Ayaka is to use Blizzard Strayer and focus on Crit Damage on the Circlet, Cryo Damage bonus on the Goblet, and ATK% on the Sands. Sub-stats on the Flower, Feather, Goblet, and Sands also play an important role, and the plan is to have Crit Rate and Damage on them, especially the latter. Besides, here are all the artifacts you can try on Ayaka.

  • 4-piece Blizzard Strayer (Best artifact set for Ayaka)
  • 2-piece Blizzard Strayer + 2-piece Nobless Oblige
  • 2-piece Nobless Oblige + 2-piece Gladiator’s Finale
Artifact Main / Sub-Stat
Flower Flat HP / Crit Damage  Crit Rate > ATK% > ER%
Feather ATK / Crit Damage  Crit Rate > ATK% > ER% > EM
Sands ATK% / Crit Damage  Crit Rate > ER% > EM
Goblet Cryo Damage Bonus / Crit Damage  Crit Rate > ATK% > ER%
Circlet Crit Damage  Crit Rate / ATK% > ER%

In the end, if you want to know what good Ayaka stats look like, it should be around 30% Crit rate and over 200% crit damage.

Ayaka: Talents and Passives

In Genshin, Ayaka’s fighting style is unique. Her special sprint is only limited to her and applies Cryo to enemies. Here are all the Talents of Kamisato Ayaka in Genshin Impact:

Normal Attack: Kamisato Art – Kabuki: Performs a series of five consecutive attacks dealing physical damage, and charged and plunge attacks which also do physical damage.

Kamisato Art: Hyouka: Kamisato Ayaka performs an AoE Cryo attack and launches enemies by summoning Blooming Ice.

Kamisato Art: Senho: Ayaka consumes stamina while sprinting and cloaks herself in a frozen fog that moves with her. This way she can sprint on water. When she reveals herself close to enemies, she applies Cryo to enemies.

Kamisato Art: Soumetsu: Ayaka unleashes a snowstorm that continuously deals big Cryo damage to enemies and blooms toward the end, dealing more Cryo damage.

Ayaka Genshin Ascension and Talent Materials

Leveling up Ayaka requires Sakura Bloom, Perpetual Hearts (obtained by defeating perpetual mechanical array in Inazuma), Handguards, and Shivada Jade. The hardest part is collecting talent level-up materials as Ayaka requires materials from one of the hardest weekly bosses in Genshin Impact, Azdaha, Handguards, and Philosophies of Elegance. To sum it up, here’s everything you’ll need to level up Ayaka’s level and talent levels.

Material No. of Materials needed
Shivada Jade Silver 1
Shivada Jade Fragment 9
Shivada Jade Chunk 9
Shivada Jade Gemstone 6
Mora 2,092,530
Hero’s Wit 419
Old Handguard 18
Kageuchi Handguard 30
Famed Handguard 36
Sakura Bloom 168
Perpetual Heart 46

Below is all the materials you’ll need to level up Kamisato Ayaka’s talents.

Material No. of Materials Required
Teachings of Elegance 9
Guide to Elegance 63
Philosophies of Elegance 114
Old Handguard 18
Kageuchi Handguard 66
Famed Handguard 93
Mora 4,957,500
Crown of Insight 3
Bloodjade Branch 18

As for the talent priority, you should prioritize Elemental Burst > Normal Attack > Elemental Skill. This way, you can ensure you’re getting the most out of her attack and cryo damage buffs. Fighting Azdaha could be tedious so make sure you use others’ help via Co-op.

Kamisato Ayaka: Best Weapons

Mistsplitter reforged Genshin Impact 4.3 Ayaka Build Guide: Weapons, Artifacts, Materials, Constellations and Team Comps

Since Ayaka heavily relies on Crit stats and especially Crit damage, you must equip her with a Crit damage weapon. Ayaka’s signature weapon is Mistsplitter Reforged. Here are the best weapons for Ayaka.

  • Mistsplitter Reforged (Best-in-slot weapon for Ayaka)
  • Blackcliff Longsword (Best Free-to-play weapon for Ayaka)
  • Primordial Jade Cutter
  • Amenoma Kageuchi
  • The Black Sword

Kamisato Ayaka Constellations

If you’re a free-to-play player, let us tell you that Ayaka at C0 in Genshin Impact is still very good and you may want to invest those hard-earned primogems toward getting other characters. However, if you like the character as an F2P or big spender her constellations are worth getting. The ones that are of the highest priority are C2, C4, and C6; Although, C1 is also very good.

C1: Snowswept Sakura: Adds a 50% chance that Ayaka’s elemental skill cooldown will decrease by 0.3 seconds every time you hit an enemy with her Cryo damage (normal or charged).

C2: Blizzard Blade Seki To No: Adds two smaller frostflake storms that widen Ayaka’s burst range and damage “Kamisato Art: Soumetsu.” While this may not sound very prioritizing, it’s important if you want to spread the Cryo application.

C4: Ebb and Flow: Brings down the defense by 30% whenever Kamisato Art: Soumetsu’s frostflake hits the enemy.

C6: Dance of Suigetsu: Ayaka gains Usurahi Butou every ten seconds which increases her charged attack damage by 298%.

Again, these aren’t necessary as Ayaka’s already an excellent damage dealer, but if you have the resources, you may want to go all out to build the best Ayaka among any Genshin Impact player out there!

5 of The Best Teams for Kamisato Ayaka in Genshin Impact

1) Ayaka + Shenhe + Kazuha + Kokomi

Best Ayaka freeze team (Genshin Impact 4.3 Ayaka Build Guide: Weapons, Artifacts, Materials, Constellations and Team Comps)

This team is arguably the best and strongest Ayaka Freeze team in Genshin Impact. The party consists of two Cryo units that will unlock the double Cryo Resonance and increase the CRIT Rate of all members by 15% against enemies who are affected by Cryo or frozen.

Ayaka will be the main DPS unit in this team, with Kokomi as the Hydro support and healer. Meanwhile, Kazuha will shred the enemies' Elemental Resistance and group them up, and Shenhe will be used to buff Ayaka's Cryo DMG. Interestingly, they were also one of the most used teams in the latest iterations of Spiral Abyss Floor 12.

2) Ayaka + Rosaria + Kazuha + Kokomi

Rosaria is a good substitute for Shenhe (Genshin Impact 4.3 Ayaka Build Guide: Weapons, Artifacts, Materials, Constellations and Team Comps)

This team is similar to the previous entry; the only difference is that Rosaria is used as the Cryo support instead of Shenhe. The former is one of the most underrated units in Genshin Impact and could be considered one of the best alternatives for the latter.

Rosaria can increase the team's CRIT Rate from her passives and solve the energy requirements to ensure Ayaka can get her energy back in time. The team fundamentally functions in the same way as the previous recommendation.

3) Ayaka + Diona + Sucrose + Xingqiu

F2p Ayaka team (Genshin Impact 4.3 Ayaka Build Guide: Weapons, Artifacts, Materials, Constellations and Team Comps)

This is one of the best F2P teams for Ayaka, consisting of three 4-star characters. While the party may not be as strong as the previous two mentions, it can still be used to clear most of the content in Genshin Impact effectively.

Diona can provide a decent shield to protect against enemy attacks, heal the party, and charge the battery to ensure everyone can use their Elemental Burst on time. Xingqiu is the direct Hydro support, and Sucrose will work in grouping up the enemies while shredding their Elemental Resistance and buff Ayaka with Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers.

4) Ayaka + Ayato + Ganyu + Kokomi

Permafreeze team (Genshin Impact 4.3 Ayaka Build Guide: Weapons, Artifacts, Materials, Constellations and Team Comps)

This is a double Hydro and double Cryo with the Kamisato siblings on the same team. Ayato and Ganyu synergize with each other well and will work as sub-DPS units to permanently freeze and deal damage to the enemies with their wide-range AoE Elemental Burst.

Meanwhile, Kokomi will be the only support unit to heal and provide the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers buff to Ayaka, the primary DPS.

5) Ayaka + Ganyu + Shenhe + Kazuha

Mono Cryo team (Genshin Impact 4.3 Ayaka Build Guide: Weapons, Artifacts, Materials, Constellations and Team Comps)

This is a Mono Cryo team with one Anemo support. Since there are no Hydro characters in the party, they will be unable to Freeze enemies and essentially lose half of the effects of Blizzard Strayer. However, this will not stop them from damaging their enemies.

Kazuha will group all the nearby enemies and decrease their Elemental Resistance while buffing the team's damage. Meanwhile, Shenhe will be the primary Cryo support, buffing Ganyu and Ayaka simultaneously, allowing them to deal massive Cryo damage.
