Similar to other HoYoverse RPGs like Honkai Star Rail, new and returning characters in Genshin Impact are pooled together in a limited-banner system, and players have to cough out the most valuable Stellar Jade and Primogems to get them.
For Genshin Impact, devs introduced a new banner for this version, Chronicled Wish, so that’s one more place to spend Primogems. But with three limited-time event banners and a weapon banner, keeping track of the current and upcoming characters can become quite a task in itself.
To make it easier, here is the full banner schedule for Genshin Impact version 4.5, as well as all the details on upcoming banners.
What is the current Genshin Impact character banner?
The current banner in Genshin Impact version 4.5 phase 1 is of Chiori and Arataki Itto. While Chiori (Geo Sword user) and Itto (Geo Claymore user) are the featured five-star characters, these four-star characters also have boosted drop rates:
- Dori (Electro Claymore user)
- Gorou (Geo Bow user)
- Yun Jin (Geo Polearm user)
When will the current Genshin Impact character banner end?
Chiori and Itto’s banners were released with phase 1 of Genshin Impact’s 4.5 version on March 13, and they’ll leave the game on April 2, 2024.
What is the current Genshin Impact weapon banner?
In phase 1 of Genshin Impact version 4.5, the featured five-star weapons are Uraku Misugiri (Sword) and Redhorn Stonethresher (Claymore). Meanwhile, the four-star weapons with the boosted drop rates are:
- Favonius Codex (Catalyst)
- The Alley Flash (Sword)
- The Bell (Claymore)
- Dragon’s Bane (Polearm)
- Alley Hunter (Bow)
Like the character banner, the current weapon banner will also leave the game on April 2, 2024.

When will Chronicled Wish banner end?
Chronicled Wish in Genshin Impact will end with phase 1 of version 4.5, which is on April 2. Remember, similar to the weapon banner, your fate points won’t carry forward, and they’ll reset whenever the banner returns next.
When is the next Chronicled Wish banner?
We have no confirmation of when Chronicled Wish will return. HoYoverse said the banner would arrive from time to time, which hints that it potentially isn’t part of every phase or version.
In terms of characters, the current Chronicled Wish banner is Mondstadt-specific, so the new one can be Liyue. But we’ll have to wait until version 4.6 Special Program livestream for more details. No Chronicled Wish banner for phase 2 of 4.5 has been announced so far.
All upcoming 4.5 & 4.6 characters in Genshin Impact
Following phase 1 of version 4.5, we will enter phase 2, and it is confirmed by HoYoverse that it’ll feature Neuvillette and Kazuha. After that, devs confirmed Arlecchino for the 4.6 version via drip-marketing.
